Introduction
Many people been waiting for this one. After excellent work from Blizzard like the older Warcrafts, Diablos and Starcraft, the next potential blockbuster is ready to be thoroughly tested.

Graphics (9/10)
The Graphics in the game are perfect for this type of game. It's a very good combination of Overview and Details. You can see the unit's faces very good, they even twinkle. While some areas look a bit dull, especcialy the water and the transition to the land looks superb. Very nice graphical effects for speels etc. make WarCraft 3 one of the best looking RTS ever. Also very well done are the animations, everything is smooth and units do thinks like, stredging, drinking etc. when nothing else to do.

Audio (8/10)
Audio is also very well done. Sound effects match to the scenario of fantasy and so on. Music is sometimes a little bit boring, but fits altogether to the atmosphere. If you are a Warcraft-Veteran, you will also enjoy the comments of the annoyed troops when you click them too much. The units have all good comments and sayings.
Good is that every Race has a different music theme (humans classical & pruod, the Undead dark and scary etc.) and you really feel like: Aha! These can only be that race.

Gameplay (9/10)
Gameplay is Blizzard-Typical very good. If you played any RTS in your life you will be into this after the first 3 minutes. That intuitive controlling makes running around and fight very enjoyable. The camera is kinda fixed, but you can rotate it, but it goes to the fixed position again when you relive the button. You can stepless zoom in and out the battlefield, whereas the perspective also changes the nearer you zoom onto the field.

Concluding Thoughts (17/20)
Another strength of WarCraft. It's not your average 'build army and destroy' enemy stuff. Of course that's sometimes inevitable, but most missions are very diversified. One time you gotta rescue units from a Castle w/o being seen, the other time you gotta survive for 30 minutes w/o losing the camp or intercept a convy and so on and so on. Also the very good plot makes you really wanting to see how it goes on, so you always have a motivation to go on. You get rewarded with extremely nice cut scenes and the story is told further after or even in each mission. BTW: You have to complete one campaign after the other, so you can't begin with the race you want. First comes the prologue with the orcs, then the human campaign, followed by the Undead, leading to the Elves and at last the Dark Elves. All in all Blizzard made again a very good game with all needs for a Fantasy- Fan.

Jak dla mnie po 15 minutach gry rewelacja

Nie przepadam za RTSami, ale kurcze W3 wciska w fotel...klimat, muzyka, cutscenki, wykonanie, oprawa...chyba pogram ciut dłużej niż do 2 misji...

no, no, giera rzeczywiście wymiata, ale już chyba mnie żadna gra tego typu nie wciągnie. przeszedłem pare lat temu całego warcrafta (1) .wtedy to siedziałem dzień i noc nad nią. teraz... hmm, grafa robi wrażenie niesamowite, filmy też czadowe (jak to zwykle "u bilzzarda")... przeszedłem 2 misje, ale wątpie czy mi sie bedzie chciało grać dalej... w każdym razie giera rulezuje... a może jednak jeszcze do niej przysiąde...
