The Baltimore Ravens finished their seventh training camp practice on Friday Baltimore Ravens T-Shirt , and it was a practice filled with several highs and lows.Attendance report: Nine Ravens missed practice on Friday: Bennett Jackson, Kenneth Dixon, Mark Andrews, Alex Lewis, Quincy Adeboyejo, Marshal Yanda, Jaylen Hill, Bam Bradley and Greg Senat.Injury updates:Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh did not provide any specific injury updates, but he did state that none of the injuries are “serious” and it is merely “camp stuff.” Tyus Bowser and Randin Crecelius both left practice early due to injuries. Bowser had a solid practice before suffering an injury. Maurice Canady was shaken up after a play, but he returned to the field a couple plays later. We want MOOREChris Moore was the best receiver on the field during Friday’s practice. He was consistently beating his man and making fantastic catches, including a one-hand circus catch against Marlon Humphrey. Not to mention Humphrey was called for pass-interference as well. In addition, Moore made a couple of plays during the special teams portion of the drills. He downed a ball on a punt inside the five-yard line. Moore’s route running looked crisp, and he didn’t have a single drop today. This has been a common theme for him throughout his NFL career; he has been a training camp superstar but failed to make a significant impact offensively during the regular season. Will he take the next step in his development?Bounce back seasonTony Jefferson was impressive during Friday’s session. His play during the 2017 season has come under a ton of scrutiny, but today was Jefferson’s day. He recorded two interceptions on the day, and he looked comfortable in coverage. Jefferson struggled in coverage last season, and it is an area he wants to improve. “I mean, yeah Baltimore Ravens Hats , I like playing closer to the line of scrimmage. But at the end of the day, I’m a safety, so I’ve got to be able to play back wherever I need to be – half or deep,” Jefferson said, via the team’s official website. Last year, it was the first time I really had to do some of that stuff, so it was a learning experience for me, but that’s behind me. I worked on it, I got better.”Shuffling With two projected starters sitting out on Friday — Marshal Yanda and Alex Lewis — the Ravens constantly shuffled their offensive line combinations. The first-team was interesting as Jermaine Eluemunor, again, filled in for an injured starter. The offensive line, from left to right, was Ronnie Stanley, Eluemunor, Matt Skura, James Hurst, and Orlando Brown Jr. Aside from a false start Baltimore Ravens Hoodie , Eluemunor had another excellent performance, while Skura continued to struggle with interior pressure. Without Lewis on the field, Skura received most of the first-team reps, but it was another up and down performance. Orlando Brown Jr. had another excellent practice, and it is looking like he could be the starting right tackle. His positioning and leverage were phenomenal. The second-team offensive line also shuffled around as Bradley Bozeman and Maurquice Shakir both received snaps at center and left guard. Bozeman has not received a ton of snaps at center thus far, but this could indeed be a trend in a positive direction. Nico Siragusa was seemingly limited in practice, but he received snaps at center as well. He had trouble with accuracy but is improving every day.Moving too quickRonnie Stanley was called for a false start during a full-team drill. He was drawn off by the defense moving around along the line of scrimmage. Za’Darius Smith was later drawn offsides due to the hard count. Smith had a great practice as he looked explosive during the individual drills. It appears as if he is ready to take on a more significant role this upcoming season. DropsiesThe Ravens’ receivers were solid on Friday, but there were a couple of forgettable moments. Jordan Lasley, again, had an inconsistent practice. He struggled to separate and catch the football at times. His route running is still somewhat raw. Lasley also made several fantastic plays.First-round rookie tight end Hayden Hurst had a couple of drops on the day. He was tightly covered on one of the drops, but it fell through his hands. Overall, he had an underwhelming showing at practice. Canadian Football League star DeVier Posey made several great cuts and ran crisp routes, but he dropped one pass on the day. He has continued to impress throughout training camp, but due to Baltimore’s depth at wide receiver, he may not have a great chance at making the 53-man roster.Young vs. PeanutThe closest position battle during training camp thus far has been at inside linebacker: Kenny Young vs. Patrick Onwuasor (Peanut). Friday was clearly Young’s day. Peanut had a solid practice, but Young was impressive in coverage. He recorded several pass breakups, including one against first-round pick Hayden Hurst. Young’s innate ability to diagnose the play and then act on it was on full display. In run-stopping Customized Baltimore Ravens Jerseys , Peanut had the edge on Young, but this was expected. Many are suspecting that Baltimore could rotate the two linebackers in and out depending on the situation.New beginningsKamalei Correa and Bronson Kaufusi both received reps at ‘Sam’ and ‘Rush.’ They both actually met in the backfield to apply pressure to the quarterback. With most of the projected starters expected to receive little playing time in the Hall of Fame game, Correa and Kaufusi could see extended time there. QB strugglesIt was another up and down showing for rookie quarterback Lamar Jackson. This will likely be the same story for the next couple of weeks. He will make some remarkable throws that leave everybody speechless, yet he will make a terribly inaccurate throw on the next play. Joe Flacco had a solid day, despite receiving a limited amount of snaps. It is not expected that he will play in the Hall of Fame game, and why should he?Robert Griffin III was not nearly as impressive on Friday as he has been on previous days. It was a day filled with inconsistencies, bad reads, and inaccurate throws.Ravens vs. Steelers final recap: Second half shutout Week 4 brought us another match up in the classic Ravens-Steelers rivalry, this time on Sunday Night Football at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh.Baltimore received the ball to start the game. Quarterback Joe Flacco started hot, leading the offense down the field. After some strong runs from Alex Collins and tough catches from Michael Crabtree, Flacco hit John Brown for a 33-yard touchdown. The Ravens defense had a nice start as well. On 3rd-and-4, safety Tony Jefferson stripped the ball from tight end Vance McDonald, setting Baltimore’s offense up at Pittsburgh’s 31-yard line. Initially ruled as a fumble returned for a touchdown, Jefferson was ruled down after replay. Four plays later, Flacco hit Collins for his second passing touchdown.Following a punt from both teams, Steelers kicker Chris Boswell made a 34-yard field goal to cut the lead to 14-3. The Ravens followed up with a 71-yard pass to Brown from Flacco. Baltimore was unable to capitalize, however Authentic Mark Andrews Jersey , as Collins fumbled the ball on a run at the goal line. Pittsburgh kicked a field goal and scored a touchdown on the next two drives. Antonio Brown scored a touchdown over cornerback Marlon Humphrey despite having good coverage on the play. After successfully completing the two-point conversion, the game was tied 14-14 going into halftime. Justin Tucker kicked four field goals in the second half, from 47, 49, 28 and 31. On the third field goal, up 20-14 with 10:17 left in the fourth quarter, the Ravens offense was able to run the clock down to 3:37 and make it a two-possession game with Tucker’s field goal. The drive lasted 14 plays for 82 yards. While leading 23-14 with 3:31 left, Baltimore’s defense came up huge with an interception from safety Anthony Levine Sr., leading to Tucker’s final field goal to put the game out of reach with just 1:56 remaining. Second-year linebacker Tim Williams got Baltimore’s only sack of the night on the Steelers final drive. The Ravens defense held Pittsburgh to 284 yards, limiting Ben Roethlisberger to 274 passing yards, one touchdown and an interception. Running back James Conner was held to 19 rushing yards on nine carries. Flacco continued his strong season with another good performance, finishing 28-42 for 363 yards and two touchdowns. Collins rushed for 42 yards on 11 carries. Brown led all receivers with 116 yards and a touchdown on three receptions. Willie Snead IV had an impressive performance as well, catching six passes for 56 yards and converting several crucial third downs. Baltimore travels to Cleveland to face the 1-2-1 Browns next Sunday.
