D: From s2 screenshots i can guess slicks will be finally aviable for all cars, can you confirm this?
V: No, not for all cars - only the racing types, so the current s1 cars won't get slicks available
D: including the new gti-r fxo-r?
V: those are the racing types
L: why not a rb4-r?
V: maybe later. Scawen has mentioned on our forum, there will be no rally in S2 intially - instead a later rally update will be made
D: I red on another interview the release date is actually Q4 (before xmas), can you be more precise? ( i don't expect a date at all.. just a month maybe?) can we wait something immediatly after the summer?
V: well, 'before xmas' won't be in december (i hope not anyway! and yeah it's likely to be after summer. (when did summer end again?)
D: for us poor mortals ends 1 semptember.. for seasoning 21 of september
V: maybe 'around end of summer' woul dbe appropriate - but you know the famous saying 'it's done when it's done' oh it'll be after summer holidays i guess unless you have vacations rally late
D:Rallyst atm are not very happy of the rb4, will there be another AWD car for them in S2?
V: As said earlier - not right away - rally lovers will have to wait a bit longer for when the rally pack comes
D: We all know and accept the fact that in s2 there will be no damage modelling (apart from engine damage wich is already there), but i remember scawen saying he was thinking about a sort of suspension damage to prevent the wallriding cheat on some city tracks, can you confirm and explain a bit better?
V: and there's a good chance they're faster btw yeah, he has experiemented with suspension damage, which basically bends the tubes of your suspension. So if you crash into a wall or take a high bump hard, you risk bending your wheels |
