Racing Legends Beta Not This Year
From West-Racing website: Racing Legends is in no way dependent upon the success of this Online Shop. We had thought that any money raised from the online shop could be used to upgrade our equipment and software and possibly employ a couple of people to relieve some of the work load, especially the day to day running of the company. We can do these things without an extra source of income and this is where the shop comes in. I apologise for the wording which I must admit is misleading. The idea for the shop came from the forum and from our visit to Goodwood where quite a number had asked if they could buy items connected with Racing Legends. We felt this was a good idea and would not only satisfy this demand but also, as mentioned, make it possible for us to make the development of Racing Legends easier. Please let me say this. Do not feel you have to buy anything from the shop. We do not want anyone to feel that they are obliged to purchase items. Buy something because you want to not because you feel you have to. It seems a number of people are not happy with the lack of news updates on the site. We can only apologise. We are working flat out to get this product done but, unfortunately, not everything we do results in visual progress. In an effort to save frustration for these people we will be adding a News by Email service which will notify you by email of any updates to the site to save you the bother of visiting. We would also like to say that the beta version of Racing Legends will not be available before the end of the year. It seems a number of you were expecting the shop to feature said Beta. We really have no idea where that rumour came from but we feel it is best to put the matter straight on this issue. Hopefully this will save a lot of you wasting your time coming to site expecting to download the beta. All we ask is that you simply take this for what it is, namely 2 guys trying their best to make something happen.
