11 listopada do sklepów w Japonii trafi Sony HMZ-T1 – headset 3D, dedykowany użytkownikom konsoli PlayStation 3 i przeznaczony także do oglądania filmów. Futurystyczny gadżet z powodzeniem zastąpi telewizor w roli wyświetlacza, posiada bowiem wbudowane dwa ekrany OLED o przekątnej 0,7 cala i rozdzielczości 720p (zapewniające podobne wrażenia jak w przypadku oglądania 750-calowego ekranu z odległości 20 metrów), a także słuchawki generujące dźwięk w systemie 5.1. Headset oferuje też wejście i wyjście HDMI. Problemem może być tylko jego cena, ustalona na poziomie 60 tysięcy jenów (ok. 480 dolarów, czyli 1400 złotych).
